Biography
Dr. Priscillah Nsama is a Zambian academic and researcher specialising in agrarian and environmental studies. She completed her PhD at the University of Cape Town’s Centre for African Studies, focusing on land governance and customary tenure systems in Zambia. Nsama holds a Master’s degree in Agrarian and Environmental Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) in The Hague, and a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies with a minor in Public Administration from the University of Zambia. She is also a holder of a diploma in Environmental Health Technology acquired from Chainama College of Health Sciences.In addition to her academic pursuits, Nsama is a gospel musician who has released music that reflects her faith and commitment to social upliftment. Her dual engagement in academia and music underscores her dedication to both intellectual inquiry and community engagement. As part of her community service, she provides counselling support to both students and fellow lecturers, contributing to emotional well-being and academic success within the university environment.
